He is survived by: his wife Mary T. Goode; his children, Michael Burrell, Rita Huston and Rever Goode; his stepchildren, Rita Marrow, Janita Eubanks and Dennis Best (Terrie); and his grandchildren, Erick Huston II, Angelica Huston, Zorah Huston, Dawn Nelson, Teyondra Best, Jeffery Eubanks, Jr. and Elijah Best.
