She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Purvis and Ora Dixon Purvis. She is survived by: her children, Lori Hamlett (James) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Karen Wearmouth of Waxhaw, NC, Charles "Chuck" Ashworth (Laurie) of Cascade Mills, NC and Robert "Bob" Ashworth of Chapel Hill, NC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
