It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Lee Ligon of Buffalo Junction, Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Ligon and Harriett Slagle Ligon; his son Robert Barry Ligon; and his siblings, Odelle Poole, Lillie Murray, Maybelle Long, Evelyn Williams, Billy Ligon and Jack Ligon.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Smith Ligon; his son Terry Lee Ligon (Teresa); his grandchildren, Robert Alexander Ligon, Brandon Lee Ligon, Crystal Ann Ligon, James Robert Ligon, Elaine Marie Ligon and Erin Michele Ligon; and his great grandchildren, Harley Daniel Ligon, Jonah Robert Ligon and Isaac Ryan Ligon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, special family friends, and his church friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Gideon International" and made to Clarksville Gideon Camp, PO Box 934 Clarksville, Va. 23927 or donations to the Buffalo Baptist Cemetery Fund.
