He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hoffman and Blanche Cox Hoffman; his sister Phyllis Kocher; his nephew Richard Kocher; his brothers, David Hoffman, William Hoffman (Carol) and Thomas Hoffman; his parents-in-law, Albert and Mildred Urtz; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Urtz and James Gydesen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Urtz Hoffman; his son Jonathan Hoffman; his grandchildren, Chloe and Charlie Hoffman of Hillsborough, NC; his brothers, Steve Hoffman (Nancy) of Ilion, NY and Dennis Hoffman (MaryAnn) of Ilion, NY; his siblings-in-law, Greg Urtz (Doris) of Mohawk, NY, Mike Urtz of Ilion, NY, Matt Urtz of San Diego, CA, Scott Urtz of Utica, NY, Mark Urtz (Regina) of Raleigh, NC, Pamela Gydesen of Mohawk, NY, Mary Megyeri (Bela) of Colonie, NY and Linda Hoffman of Ilion, NY; and his nephew Michael.
