It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Brann Hogan (Buffalo Junction, Virginia), born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on November 5, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Irene Puckett Hogan; and his brothers, Thomas William Hogan and Carl Edward Hogan. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lauri Hogan; his children, Christopher Brann Hogan (Sherrie), Samantha and Lisa Stoner of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Ashley and Brittney; his stepdaughter Patricia Perkins of Rincon, GA; his stepgrandson William; his siblings, Loretta Hogan Roberts of Bahama, NC, Anita Hogan Talley of Virgilina, Larry Wilford Hogan of Virgilina and Lloyd Wayne Hogan (Sue) of Clarksville; his nephew Harley Ligon; his former wife Carolyn Tillotson Pearce; and also, Kynlee and Kysen. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be considered to the American Cancer Society or Mecklenburg County Life Saving & Rescue.
