She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Easley and Dora Cunningham Easley; her husband Thomas Edward Yancey; her children, Thomas, Jr., Preston, Marshall and Edna Allen; her grandson Marshall Yancey; and her siblings, Annie, Essie, Nash, Benro, Jack and Charlie Easley.
She is survived by: her children, Mary G. Gravitt of Washington, DC, Dora P. Roberts of Washington, DC, Lawrence Yancey (Julia) of Clarksville, VA, Charles L. Yancey (Clara) of Fort Washington, MD and Robert Lee Yancey (LaTonda) of Richmond, VA; and her brother-in-law Otis Yancey of Bowling Green, VA. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren.
