She was predeceased by: her parents, James David Ford and Pearl Ratliff Ford; her husband John Thurston Pool; her son John Thurston Pool, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Nancy LaNeave Pool; and her siblings, Alice Elizabeth "Betsy" Gravitt and Giles Henry Ford.
She is survived by: her son Delbert Edgar Pool; and her granddaughter Donna Pool Wilkins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jamieson Memorial Methodist Church (219 Fifth St, Clarksville, VA 23927). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at the Shady Grove Umc Cemetery (8007 E Hyco Rd, Virgilina, VA 24598).
