He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Mae Pleasants Marshall and Calvin E. Marshall; his sister Judy Marshall Payne; his pet Beefy; and his stepson Gregory Mast.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Marshall; his daughter Jessica Marshall of Dillwyn, Virginia; his brother Robert Marshall of Charlottesville, Virginia; his granddaughters, Breanna, Audrey Marshall and Linda Marshall of Scottsville, Virginia; and his stepchildren, Wendel Mast (April) of Louisa, Monica Carter of Scottsville, Travis (Corinne) of Mohrsville Pennsylvania, Jeremy Mast of Buckingham and Amy Rice (Tyler) of Williamston. He is also survived by grandchildren, Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousin's and lots of In-laws.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Life Church (9 Mahan Rd, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Steiner Family Cemetery.
