She was predeceased by: her parent Norman Robert Tees Burch; her siblings, Elizabeth B. "Betty" Williams and Robert Dillon Burch; and her stepgrandson Jeremy Lott. She is survived by: her parent Sarah Elizabeth Dillon Burch; her son William Joseph Shepherd, Jr.; her wife Laurel Shepherd of Buckingham; her grandchildren, Melissa Stuckey (Nathan) of Alabama, Shawn Shepherd (Mary) of Farmville and Rebecca Shepherd of Farmville; her stepgrandsons, Steven Lott of West Virginia, Matthew Newton of Buckingham and Joshua Newton of Lynchburg; and also Norman Robert "Bobby" Shepherd (Debra) of Farmville.
