She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Watkins and Daisy Watkins of Buckingham County; and her brothers, Wellford Miller, James Watkins, William Watkins and Charles Watkins.
She is survived by: her husband Norris J. Barlow of Charlottesville, Virginia.; her daughter Carolyn "Niecy" Franklin; her sisters, Elizabeth Boone of Richmond, Estelle Watkins, Janet Johnson (Gary), Lucy Booker, Pearl Cousins (Jerry), Dianne Brown, Anna Marie Watkins, Shirley Watkins and Gertrude Watkins; her half-sister Annie Campbell; and her brothers, John Henley (Ruth), Frank Watkins (JoAnne) and George Watkins. She is also survived by three children, and leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
