He is survived by: his wife Debra Whorley Leonard; his children, Virginia "Jenny" Mae Terry (Roy, Jr.) and John Lewis Leonard II (Christina); his grandchildren, Jamie Mae Terry, Roy Terry III, John Leonard III, Madysen Leonard, Tyler Moore and Samantha Moore; and his siblings, Mary Kelly, Laura Sargeant, Suziann Blankenship and Harry Leonard.
