It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Davis Sr. (Buckingham, Virginia), who passed away on January 15, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Davis of Washington and Florence Tatum Davis; his wife Glenna Moss; his siblings, Louise Schultz (Vernon), John W. Davis, Jr. (Mabel), Kenneth E. Davis, Jefferson Clyde Davis and Gordon Maynard Davis; his children, Jimmy Davis (Linda) of Buckingham, Chris Davis (Ann) of Buckingham and Tammy Davis of Buckingham; his grandchildren, Gage (Kierstan), Ethan, Nicholas and Michael; his friends, Dick and Paula Bland; and his sister-in-law Ressie Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 Saint Jude Pl, Memphis, Tennessee 38105) and Shriners Hospitals for Children (2900 Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, Florida 33607).
