He is survived by: his wife Melody Vest Gunter; his mother Virginia Allen Gunter; his children, Kelly Hodge (Jason), Keri Sage (Justin) and Chad Keesee; his grandchildren, Kayla Sage, Tyler Sage, April Sage, Stephen Keesee and Maddie Hodge; his siblings, Keith Gunter (Paige), Janice Layne and Robin Gunter; his close friends, Coach Larry White, Will Simmons, Mike Dupuy and Berry Brown; and his pet Toby. He is also survived by five nephews; one great-niece.
