He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Lann Rush and Thomas Clyde Rush Sr.; and his siblings, Floyd, Marjorie, Patty and Linda.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Irene Murphy Rush; his siblings, Francis "Sissy" and Dorothy; his children, Misty, Charles Jr., Brooke and Morgan; and his grandchildren, Calem, Rylan, Skylar, Madison, Drew, Savannah and Briar.
