She was predeceased by: her parents, Lila and Johnson; her brother Ronald Steven Sears; and her grandson William Lee Tibbs. She is survived by: her husband Lester Brown; her children, Connie Tibbs (Gary), David Brown (Becky) and Steve Brown (Sandra); her grandchildren, Patricia Dale, Fallone Brown, Ginger Allen (Jeremy), Joshua Brown (Lindsay), Steve "Bucky" Brown and Randi Brown; her great grandchildren, Tyreke, Jakia, Nicholas, Raelynn, Bentley, Kallie, Jace and Emma; her siblings, Wayne Sears (Annie) and Carol Ragland (Alfred); her sister-in-law Pat Patsel (Brown); her grandson Scott Redd; her grandson-in-law Michael Dale; her close friends, Mary, James Doss, Doug Tapscott, Lindsay, Carolyn Tapscott and Kim Hanes; and her family, Joann Songer, Terri, Stan Burch and Helen Mika. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Goshen Baptist Church, designating WMU as the recipient in honor of Skippy's dedication to spreading the Lord's message.
