She is survived by: her parent Pricey Jane Mullins Deel; her children, Ruth Anderson Layne of Grundy, VA, Barbara Allen O'Quinn (Jackie) of Haysi, VA, John David Layne (Ronney) of Grundy, VA, Minnie Arlene Deel of Birchleaf, VA, Norma Thomas of Vansant, VA, Timothy Layne of Seattle, WA, Michael Allen Layne of Hanover County, VA, Christopher Layne of Grundy, VA and Samuella O'Quinn; and her brothers, Paul McClanahan and William. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
