He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Lyle and Juanita Cox (McClanahan); his grandparents, Ocie, Ellis McClanahan, Uransa and Roy Cox; his brother Terry Ray Looney; and his mother-in-law Madlene Mullins.
He is survived by: his wife Melena Looney (Mullins) of Homecreek, VA; his father-in-law Sam Mullins; his stepmother Sherry Cox-Ratliff; his daughter Asia Hatfield; his grandson Joshua Hatfield; his siblings, Steven Cox (Christen), Larry Blankenship and Melissa Brewster (Billy); and his cousin Roscoe.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Harman Freewill Baptist Church (2370 Bull Creek Rd, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
