He is survived by: his granddaughter Maci; his wife Mary Harris Furr; his children, Brittany Furr Gordon (Jason) of Roanoke, Stephen Austin (Candace) of Roanoke, Samuel Austin (Caitlyn Porterfield) and Johnny Lambert (Chiharu) of Normal, Illinois; his grandchildren, John Lambert and Emi Lambert; his father-in-law Dennis Harris (Barbara) of Troutville; and his sisters, Rebecca Linkous (Jack) of Roanoke, Toni Pierce (Chuck) of Buchanan, Tamara Reed (Derrick) of Vashon, WA and Many. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
