She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elswick and Edna McClanahan Elswick; her former husband Jimmy Clevinger; and her brother Billy Gene Elswick. She is survived by: her husband Robert James Hutchinson of Grundy, VA; her children, Valerie Kay Clevinger Massingill (Kenny) of Seminole, FL, James Neal Clevinger (Tina) of Grundy, VA and Robert John Hutchinson (Sara) of Grundy, VA; her siblings, Mary Louise Case of Abingdon, VA, Becky Lynn Hutchinson of Grundy, VA and Otis Elswick of Grundy, VA.; and her grandchildren, Zachary Massingill, Christina Clevinger Deel, Chastity Clevinger, Mandy, Starr-Lite Merida, Sunshine Furlong, Joshua and Jeremiah Ratliff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
