He is survived by: his wife Lisa Gearhart (Lester) of Big Rock, VA; his children, Alisha Gearhart Barnes (Joshua) of Big Rock, VA and Larry Lee "Fred" Gearhart Jr. of Big Rock, VA; his grandsons, Abraham Waters (Haley Mullins), Isaiah Waters, Isaac Gearhart and Aiden Gearhart; his brother Gary Gearhart (Becky) of Flowery Branch, GA; his sisters-in-law, Betty Justice of Haysi, VA and Della Grizzell of Big Rock, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Tim Gearhart, Greg Gearhart, John Justice, B. J. Justice, Valerie Colley, Elizabeth Williams, Carrie Gearhart and Tara Craver.
