She is survived by: her children, Jesus Barton Nieves of Buchanan and Georgia P. Smith of Chicago; her siblings, Joe Markham, Dole Markham, Tom Markham and Judy; and her brother-in-law Aubryn Muncey of Fincastle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
