He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Ann Ratliff (James Paul) of Grundy, VA, Ruby Potter of Grundy, VA, Doug Potter (Carol) of Vansant, VA, Ervin Potter of Alabama, Danny Potter of Tennessee, Johnny Potter (Eva) of Richlands, VA, Ronnie Potter (Donna Sue) of Pounding Mill, VA and Randall Potter (Sherry) of Grundy, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy Viars, Clay Potter, Michael Potter, Shawn Potter, Christy Potter, Joey Looney, Denise Simmons, Rebecca Potter, Hope Dales, Patty Matheny and Reed "Boy" Potter.
