He was predeceased by: his parent Dewey Hankins; his brother Robert Hankins; and also, James Hankins and Kenneth Hankins. He is survived by: his parent Fannie Hankins (Tolliver); his wife Betty Lou Hankins (Clevinger) of Grundy, VA; and also, Rebecca Coleman (Roger) of Vansant, VA, Pamela Billiter (Johnny), Stephanie Ward (Richard), Billy Bub, Ruth Lester of Big Rock, VA and Wanda Nuckles. He is also survived by Great-Grandchildren with one on the way, 1-Great -Great-Grandchild with one on the way and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, P.O. Box 320, Maxie, VA 24628.
