He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Compton Walker. He is survived by: his father Steve W. Walker; his children, Steve Walter Walker, Jr. (Gabby) of Nathalie and Tiffany Michelle Walker (Joshua Cook) of Nathalie; his grandchild Angel Zoso-Marie Cook; his siblings, Mary Alice Beadles (Dale) of Nathalie, Jennie Carol of Nathalie, Debra Dickerson of North Carolina, Linda Beadles of Brookneal, Ricky Compton (Sarah) of South Boston and Steven Ayscue of Nathalie; his nephew Robert Compton; and his niece Zaylee Rain Morris. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
