She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Merle Carwile and Lois Mutter Carwile; her significant other David Hubert Hamlett; and her son Ben Hamlett. She is survived by: her children, Garnett Hamlett of Gladys, Paula Holland (Kenny Ray) of Gladys and Jesse Hamlett (Kelly) of Evington; her sisters, Cheryl Swint, Ree Carwile (Dale) and Kath Carwile; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Austin and Butch Hamlett; her grandchildren, Jessica, Nicolette, Lauren (Jamar), Corinne, David, Brannon, Gavin and Xander; her great grandchildren, Ayden, Wyatt, Hayven, Roman, Nehemiah, Holden and Corbin; her close friends, Dianne Collins and Lona Younger; and her mother-in-law Ellie Greenwell.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528).
