He is survived by: his children, Jerry Howell and Sheila Canody of Spout Spring; his grandchildren, Ryan of Lynchburg and Casey Howell of Lynchburg; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Sowell of Gladys, Dorothy Godsey of Gladys and Nancy Jordan of Brookneal. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
