She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner Pollard and Lorena Mason Pollard; her son Jimmy Nichols; her siblings, William "Billy" Pollard, Dorothy Breedlove and Avis Foster; her son-in-law Gerald Martin; and her granddaughter Heidi Sowell Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Wright Martin of Brookneal and Ricky Nichols (Terry Wade) of Brookneal; her grandson-in-law Rodney Miller of Hayes; her great grandchildren, Reese Miller of Hayes and Ross Singleton (Taylor) of Nathalie; her great great grandchild Carter Singleton; and her sister-in-law Bessie Pollard of Brookneal.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel (221 Old Main St, Brookneal, VA 24528).
