She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clayton Foster and Helen Bass Foster of Brookneal, Virginia.; and her siblings, Marjorie May Foster, Marie Lipscomb Ashworth, Janet Foster Neal and James Clayton Foster, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Herman L. Walker; her son Al Palmer (Ellen); her stepdaughter Linda Walker Ludeke (Mack Franklin); her grandchildren, Brett Walker Ludeke (Saera), Lindsay Palmer Marr (Jason), Sara Ann Palmer (Jayson Dorman), Erica Ludeke Hutchison (Cameron) and Ross Tyler Palmer; and her great grandchildren, Grady Hutchison, Sawyer Hutchison, Brielle Dorman and Cora Dorman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
