She was predeceased by: her husband William Irvin Sowell; her parents, John Henry Dingman and Sally Louise Hames Dingman; her daughter Barbara Blackburn; and her great great grandchild Sedona Jungling.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Woosley of Brookneal, Annie Toler of Concord, Amy Clark (Steve) of Rustburg, Kym Edwards (Jerame) of Concord and Greg Sowell (Michele) of Holly Springs, N. C.; her grandchildren, Michelle Blackburn, Kristy Rexrode (Lee), Robert Woosley (Virginia), Jason Tweedy (Annette), Sonya Campbell (Eric), Jessi Clark (Jamie), Stevie Rice (Matthew), Wes and Raven Sowell; her great grandchildren, Lydia Edwards (Travis), Hannah Edwards (Gabe), Scott Rexrode, PJ Jungling (Alex), Briana Waller (Evan), Amy-Ryan Campbell, Evelyn Grace Campbell, Baylee, Carter Tweedy, Tyler Woosley and Gavyn Bess; and her great great grandchild Henslee Waller.
