She is survived by: her son Cornelius; her daughter-in-law Samantha; her grandchildren, Christina, Jonathan, Alicia, Corduro, Anthony, Amanda, Ashley and David; her daughter-in-law Joyce Adams; and her brother-in-law Thomas Ghoston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Hat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (6442 Hat Creek Rd, Brookneal, VA 24528).
