He is survived by: his wife Frances Forrest; his daughter Yolanda Boyd (Tremayne) of Scottsburg; his siblings, Joyce Halloway (Jeremiah) of Nathalie, Shirley Jackson (Raymond) of Washington, DC, Gloria Taylor (Joseph) of Fort Washington, MD, Mitchell Forrest (Grace) of Seat Pleasant, MD and Johnnie Forrest (Sandra Rice) of Lynchburg; his siblings-in-law, Vivian Forrest of Nathalie, Lelia Cauthen of Seat Pleasant, MD, John Garner (Melrose) of Hyattsville, MD, Dodie Garner of Washington, D. C., McArthur Garner of Washington, D. C. and Charles Garner of Washington, D. C.; and his cousins, Jerry Hubbard, William Jennings and Alberta Hunter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
