We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2023, at the age of 77, Ernest William Crews Sr. of Brookneal, Virginia, born in Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thornton Crews and June Hall Crews; and his brother Wayne Crews. He is survived by: his wife Linda Vassar Crews; his children, Michelle Creasey (Kerry) of Huddleston and Ernest William "Pete" Crews, Jr. (Becky) of Brookneal; his grandchildren, Hollie, Taylor Creasey, Robbie Poole and Christopher Wilson; his great grandchildren, Brantlee and Lawson Poole; his sister Deborah Overstreet (Michael) of Phenix; his nieces and nephews, Joshua Overstreet, Kevin Fisher, Susie Collins, Heather Lemons, Amanda Crews and Kimberly Holley; and his sister-in-law Rita Fisher.
