He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracy Glenn Francis and Louise Crews Francis; and his brothers, Ronald Wayne Francis and Lawrence Earl Francis. He is survived by: his son Darrell Grey Francis, Jr. of Brookneal; and his sister Kaye F. Campbell of Concord. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
