She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Coates and Doris "Dot" Waller Shorter. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bobby" Tune Wilson; her sons, Jeff Fannon (Carolyn) of Brookneal and Robin Dale Wilson of Lynchburg; her brother Glen D. Coates (Dianne) of Raleigh, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Brandon Fannon of Brookneal and Brittany Fannon of Farmville. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
