He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Reid and Pearl Olivia Reid; his brother Lloyd Reid Jr.; and his aunts and uncles, Willie, Joseph, Daniel, Gracie, Edmonia, Josephine and Rejetta.
A burial will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Paradise AME Zion Church Cemetery (6977 Governor Harrison Pkwy, Brodnax, VA 23920).
