It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Joyce Kidd Baird of Brodnax, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Garland W. Baird of Brodnax; her children, Elaine B. Piercy (Steve) of Brodnax and Nelson Baird (Chyrel) of Brodnax; her grandchildren, Kathryn McAden (Kirk), Laura Beth Hawkins (Paul, Jr.), Aaron and Spencer Moseley (Brian Medley); her great grandchildren, Peyton McAden, Maddison McAden, Alaina Hawkins, Trey Moseley and Ashton Moseley; and her siblings, Richard Grey Kidd of Emporia, Gene S. Kidd of Ebony and Clara Mills (Linwood) of South Hill.
