She was predeceased by: her son Emmett Lee Pierce; and her sister Nellie Mae Sculthrope. She is survived by: her husband Eugene A. Pierce; her son Christopher E. Pierce (Christy Lynn) of Brodnax; her brothers, Charlie Buck Pulley of Brodnax and Booney Pulley of Union Level; her grandchildren, Thomas, Adam, Matthew (Amber) and Dylan Pierce; her great grandchild Braxton Tucker Pierce; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Watson of South Hill.
