He is survived by: his wife Patsy Rainey; his children, Lewis Rainey (Tara) of Lawrenceville, Virginia, Velona Smith of Brodnax and Shelandice Rainey Taylor (Antwaine) of Lawrenceville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Aliesha Rainey of Lawrenceville, Reshawyna Walker of Lawrenceville, Zuri McCroy of Lawrenceville, Jasanti Rainey of Lawrenceville, Amyiah, Annalise Rainey of Louisiana, Jakerey of Lawrenceville, Virginia, Tyekese of Lawrenceville, Virginia, Jah Marius Taylor of Lawrenceville, Virginia and Sterling Lewis Rainey of Lawrenceville, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Keanu and Kawhi Walker-Jones of Lawrenceville, Virginia; his siblings, LaWanda Key (Nathaniel) of Alberta, Virginia, Roy Rainey (Mary) of White Plains, Clyde Rainey (Martha) of Blackridge and Rodney Rainey of Brodnax, Virginia; his brother-in-law Linwood Taylor of Valentines, Virginia; his adoptive son Wayne Taylor (Rashida) of Brodnax; and his cousin Larry Clary (Teresa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
