He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Franklin and Viola Stultz Bazzle; his wife Goldie Alice Shifflett; his son Terry Bazzle; his sister Evelene Biller; and his half-siblings, Mamie Frank, Martha Riggleman and Edward Bazzle.
He is survived by: his daughter Lysa B. Lohr (Darin) of Broadway; his grandchild Stefanie Brock; his siblings, J. E. Bazzle of Broadway and Polly Jameson of Timberville; his daughter-in-law Mary Bazzle of Harrisonburg; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy B. Liskey, Laura Lohr Earman and Kristin Lohr Whitesell. He is also survived by three step great grandchildren.
