With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ricky E Brown (Broadway, Virginia), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth "Liz" Veney and Liz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Brown; his grandchildren, Madelyn Rinker, Eden Rinker and Myles Rinker; his siblings, William "Rufus" Brown, Lori Dexter (Gordy), Steven "Weeber" Brown and Michelle Shirkey (Lee); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Brown (John), Terry Strickler (Sandy) and David Strickler (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Bubba would have appreciated donations in his name to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital (StJude.org) the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (aspca.org), or the Ronald McDonald House in Charlottesville, VA (rmhcharlottesville.org).
