Loretta Mae Secrist Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Mae Secrist of Broadway, Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis Wilt and Esther Wilkins Whetzel; her husband Ray William Secrist; and her brothers, Robert Wilt, Gary Whetzel, Gene Wilt and David Wilt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Wilson of Broadway, Teresa Fleming of Broadway and Kristen Secrist of Broadway; her grandsons, Jeremy Wilson and Jamie Wilson; her great grandchildren, Allison Wilson, Preston Wilson, Parker Wilson and Zaiden Simmers; and her half-siblings, Ruby Crider of Harrisonburg, Linda Whetzel of Lost River, WV, Lawrence Wilt of Bergton and Gary Wilt.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Linville Creek Cemetery (408 Brethren Rd, Broadway, VA 22815).
