He was predeceased by: his parents, Jospeh Samuel and Mazie Naomi Polk Dellinger; and his siblings, Harry Dellinger, Evelyn Bowman, Augamay Bowers, Linora Ritchie, Mary Katherine Dove and Richard Dellinger.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Reid; his children, Joseph Scott Dellinger of Elizabeth City, NC and Elizabeth Dawn Krepps of Pittsburg, PA; his grandson Reid Michael Krepps; and his brother Carroll Dellinger of Dayton.
Pastor Nathan Hollenburg will conduct a service, 11:00 A. M. Saturday, outside at the Linville Creek Church of the Brethren on the west side of the church, where social distancing and masks are recommended.
