He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Brown Shipe and Norma H. Mathias Shipe; and his brothers, Gary and Durwood Shipe. He is survived by: his sisters, Lana Shipe Allison of Timberville and Anita Shipe Caldwell of Timberville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
