John Deavers Sr. Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Owen and Marie Frances Deavers (Good); his wife Lettie Mae Deavers (Charlton) of December; his daughter Evelyn Dove; and his siblings, Virginia Kibler and Henry Deavers Sr..
He is survived by: his children, John Deavers, Jr. (Pat Nicosia) of Hinton, Charles Deavers (Shelva) of Rockingham, Nola Dellinger of Dayton and Danielle Deavers of Broadway; and his sister Shirley Shifflett of Timberville. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers being sent, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to the McMullen Funeral Home, 5784 Greenmount Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22802; to offset expenses.
