He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Sherman and Anna Corbin Sherman; and his siblings, Peggy Taylor and Danny Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Sherman of Ft. Defiance and Amanda Sherman of Broadway; his brothers, Randy Sherman (Carolyn) of Bergton and Jeff Sherman of Tenth Legion; his siblings-in-law, Deborah Tate of Timberville, Pam Sherman of Harrisonburg, Tammy Crider of Timberville and Eddie Hilbert (Joann) of Broadway; and his mother-in-law Velma Crider of Broadway. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Timberville Community Center (233 McCauley Ave, Timberville, VA 22853).
