She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Alton and Helen Edna Turner Benner; her husband John Robert "Bob" Black, Sr.; her siblings, Linda Benner Ellis and Dick Benner; and her brother-in-law Neil Black.
She is survived by: her children, John Robert Black, Jr. of Broadway, Randall Lorne Black (Brenda) of Broadway and Deborah "Dee" Lynne Black of Harrisonburg; her grandchildren, Ryan Sayre (Stephen), Melissa Nguyen, Jack Black, Britain Black Madgett (Ryan), Alexandra "Alex" Black Daniel (Yosef) and Bailey Black; her great grandchildren, Jaiden, Amelie, Pax, Asher, Beau, Burns, Makonnen, Noa and Ella; her brother Hal Benner (Carolyn) of Harrisonburg; and her siblings-in-law, Scott Black (Dwayne Berenzy) of Baltimore, MD, Sandy Benner Shomo of Bridgewater and Ann Black of Charlottesville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Per CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.
