He is survived by: his mother Ruth Crider Shifflett Merbach of Broadway; his spouse Kay Crider; his children, Rebecca Kline (Daniel) of Singers Glen and Johnathan Shifflett of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Aydan, Echo, Iris Kline, Madison Trumbo, Levi, Amelia and Ben Shifflett; his sister Barbara Crider (Larry) of Criders; and his pet Daisy.
