He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Copley and Naomi "Arco" Dailey Copley; his wife Joyce Avonelle Copley (Ross); his son Timothy Mark Copley; his siblings, Wendell, Jack Copley and Lorraine Hutchinson; and his grandsons, Matthew Andes and James Price.
He is survived by: his son David Copley (Wilma) of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Laura Copley, Grant Copley, Donna Bishop (JT), Virginia Wilkins (Joe) and Randy Miller (Deanna); his sister Judy Thomas (Robert Mariol, Sr.) of Canton, OH; and his brother-in-law Hutch Hutchinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
