She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Dean and Edna Hayes Dean; her husband Benjamin Lear; her son Keith Shoemaker; and her brothers, Buddy and Jimmy Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Michael E. Shoemaker (Judy) of Broadway, Jeffrey A. Shoemaker (Mary) of Broadway and Kim League (J. R.); and her sister Juanita Layman (Sonny) of Rockingham Co. She is also survived by six granddaughters, two grandsons, seven great granddaughters, seven great grandsons.
Facial coverings and social distancing are required at both the funeral home and graveside service.
