With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Hess Heath of Broadway, Virginia, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Hess and Grace Riggleman Hess; her husband James Steven Heath; and her siblings, Virginia Leonard, Betty Gier and Edwin "Bub" Hess.

She is survived by: her children, Suzanne S. Boyer (Bill) of Broadway and William M. Shirley of Broadway; her grandchildren, Austin Pacher, III and Victoria Haynes of Williamsburg; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Nolan and Laurel.

Memorial contributions may be made to in Anita's memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
